This time, monochromatic.
Model and styling (including making the dress): Lucyna Gmaj
Yet another photoshoot with my friend Lucyna. The brilliant dress is of her design. I simply love that fabric. (She reminds me of Jane Eyre in these photos 😉 )
I see so many beautiful capes in shops lately. I’m itching to get one. For now, I’m venting this need into an illustration 🙂
The bag of a modern lady – Vivienne Westwood – 1876/2010
To be honest I’m a bit meh about it… Everything is a good experiment and even if it doesn’t turn out as you would like, it’s worth trying, but I think it’s too static… and the face is not very ‘me’. I’m quite happy with the dress though. Especially it’s back 🙂
I felt like there was something really stiff in my drawings lately and needed to seriously just loosen up. The new Dsquared2 campaign came to me as a massive inspiration. I love the colour scheme, photoshoot, textures. I might actually do a series of illustrations on it 🙂
Fantasy royalty, wearing the latest fashion. A bit uncomfortable maybe? But it’s worth it!
